About the Role
You'll work in teams of typically 3~5 consultants to identify, and oftentimes implement, potential solutions for a specific client problem or challenge.
As part of the project team, we collaborate with experienced senior consultants, project managers, and partners on consulting projects in the following areas:
- ESG/CSR/Sustainability strategy development
- Materiality analysis
- ESG disclosure and response support
- Integrated report preparation and editing support
- Support for TCFD recommendations
- Visualization of GHG emissions
- Other ESG/sustainability-related consulting
Requirements
Education: Currently working towards an undergraduate Bachelor’s degree or is a recent graduate.
Degrees in the science field or business are preferred (environmental science/studies, biology, physics, chemistry or finance, economics, business, etc.)
Applicants without a bachelor's degree may still apply if they have ESG/sustainability-related knowledge and consulting skills gained through work experience or self-study.
Experience: prior internship experience in a consulting firm or an investment bank is preferred but not required.
Excellent IT skills including Google office suite and/or Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides.
Native or fluent level of Japanese (speaking, reading, and writing).
Business level or higher English proficiency (reading and writing).
Ability to think logically and possessing skills in problem identification and resolution.
Ability to work not only as a team member but also with limited supervision on personal initiative.
Passion for solving social issues and ESG/sustainability.
*We request for a minimum commitment of at least three months for this internship program (preferably 4~6 months)
